So amazing!! I’m still somewhat new to the area of bell county and I was nervous to get my hair cut here because a lot of salons here are more southern which is great but not my vibe, alter is amazing!! The salon was so welcoming and eclectic and fun!! I knew they would do a great job on my hair. Bree cut my hair and she was amazing! i originally had another stylist booked but they let me know beforehand she wouldn’t be available today and gave me the option of waiting for another opening with my original stylist or I could rebook with someone else, so very thankful for the communication! im so glad I kept my appointment and went with Bree, I loved her!! She was so sweet and a fellow animal lover like me so we got along great! I can have a bit of anxiety and she put me right at ease, and never made it awkward at all. Plus I got offered a drink or snacks throughout my appointment which I never had before and it was so fun! cant wait to come back! and she helped me with donating my hair!

I found Alter Salon when I was looking for hair stylists that could do funky colors. I came across Megan’s page and saw the styles she had done. She did not disappoint. No matter what my ideas were when I came in, she made sure my dreams came true. The staff is very friendly and I love the vibes of this shop. I highly recommend

I highly recommend Megan as a stylist! First, props to her for handling my thick, long hair, there’s a lot of it. I’ve been going to her for years, and we’ve done a variety of vibrant colors on my money piece, as well as natural balayage. I’m currently in college, which doesn’t allow vibrant colors, so we’ve taken a break from them for now. But no matter what we do, I’m always pleased with the outcome of my hair.

Everybody knows that going to a brand new salon can be very scary no matter what the reviews may be. I have been getting my hair done since I was very young, and I have plenty of stories when it comes to bad experiences. Y’all.. this place is outstanding. Megan is an absolute miracle worker, and I don’t doubt for a single second that the other ladies are as well. It’s such a friendly environment the second you walk in, they offer drinks, snacks, their new client paperwork is seriously the best, you can tell from the jump that they care about you and your experience. Another important detail - THEY WILL TELL YOU IF SOMETHING YOU ARE WANTING IS NOT ACHIEVABLE IN 1 APPOINTMENT. I cannot stress how important this is. A lot of stylists will just do it because that’s what you asked for, because caring about your hair “is not their problem”. If they think it’s going to fry you completely, or turn into a color you may not expect, or any other risk - they will tell you. This 👏 is 👏 important 👏. I have definitely found my new hair girl 💇‍♀️ Thank you Megan 🥹 you gave me the confidence boost I was looking for. You absolutely rocked this whole project. My hair looks and feels better than it has in a LONG time.

Alter salon is such a refreshing environment! You can tell that the stylists are all friends and genuinely like each other. The decor is bright and fun and the place is spotless. Bre is my stylist and she does an absolutely amazing job! She always takes my ideas and adds so much depth and vibrance to them! Their prices are also great!
