Our family recently met with Emily at Central Texas Memorial in Belton to select two markers for two different locations in the same cemetery. The personalized and compassionate customer service was greatly appreciated. She walked us through the choices and selecting the stones and lettering was an easy process. She was very patient and did an excellent job of providing clear information and answering our questions. She arranged to have the stones delivered at the same time and in only 3 weeks, they called us, as we had requested, to meet them at the cemetery for the placement of the stones. The two men we met were also personable and compassionate and did an excellent job in resetting a large existing marker that was leaning as well as setting the new memorials. They had water on their truck to wash down the stones and this was greatly appreciated. Their prices are excellent and the delivery was much earlier than we expected. We highly recommend this company.
My interactions with Central Texas Memorial's staff was nothing short of extraordinary. Their compassion and professionalism assisting my family after my mother's passing is such that I lack the words to describe it in a manner that might give it any justice.
Did it take a bit to get the order finalized and installed? Sure. The pandemic has thrown supply lines across industries and throughout the world into disarray.
Did they communicate with me throughout the process, update me on items, assist with handling the arrangements, and follow through? Absolutely.
On top of the above, their thorough documentation/book keeping from over a decade past allowed us to select the specific marker that my father and I wished to have installed for my mother - that of her own parents.
While I am sure all of us would rather not have to experience the ordeals that come with having to request a memorial marker or headstone, it is a fact of life for those of us that must go on.
Should you find yourself in a situation such as I did, I hope the above helps you to make a determination to choose these fine human beings - because that's what they were to me. They weren't sales folk, trying to sell my father a $60,000 marble bench three days after his wife's passing - they were human beings. They handled the heavy lifting, and took one item of significance off my plate - and for that, I will forever be grateful to them for their assistance, and above all - their compassion.
Central Texas Memorial made my husband's headstone. Its absolutely beautiful. Blue Opal and how it shines and sparkles as his smile and personality did in life. So many people have stopped by during one of my graveside visits and commented on it and where I bought it from. The girl in the office kept in contact with me during the course of it going made giving me updates and called to tell me it had been completed and was being installed that day. I appreciated that so much. I thank you.
Very happy with the end result, all was done by phone and fax and the marker came out perfect. Would recommend this company to anyone that needs it. They are friendly, courteous and down to earth!
Took my only Saturday off. Drove on this extremely rainy day to look for a headstone for my mom. Arrived at 10:30 only to see a sign on the door that said "Closed for vacation". I called before I left my home and got a voicemail that stated they were open today until noon. Very disappointed that I wasted my time!!!
