a month agoWe came here, because we had something in Temple. The restaurant is located by an army base and serves blue plate specials. It is a great spot for private events. It has a large bar and spacious interior. The views are incredible as the restaurant is hanging over a lake cliff. Wish I could see the sunset. Service was very attentive. Meals were nothing to come back for. Portions were rather small. Overall we had a good time.

in the last weekThis place is awesome! Can be a little on the expensive side but good food? AND a beautiful view of the Belton Lake? Whats not to like? Staff are warm and welcoming, and food is sent out fairly quickly. Overall great place to stop by if youre in the area!

4 months agoThis is a great place to watch the sunset. Lots of tables inside and out. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! The grilled shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Great date night spot or out with friends. They have a full bar and an extension drink menu. The skinny margarita was just the right combination of alcohol and lime juice.

3 weeks ago2nd Visit! Great food and great service! It was really loud in the restaurant tonight. Had trouble talking to each other. Maybe because it was a Friday night and they had a DJ. We had: Appetizers: Surf and turf stuffed jalapeños with ranch dressing and Boudin Balls. Meals: 2 Fried Catfish and Shrimp Plate! Very good. Blackened Catfish and Shrimp with a side of salad! Good. Ribeye Steak with Crab cakes! They were really good! BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries! Very tasty. 1 lb. Shrimp Boil in Buttered Garlic.

2 months agoGreat location off of Lake Belton Dam, cool atmosphere and the staff were very nice. Had brunch on Saturday, I recommend the Chicken and Waffles to anyone! Unfortunately my wife ordered the South West Chilaquiles ( a fancy name for nachos with two eggs). Terrible... over cooked chips, cheese was uneven melted, some cold some hot. The tomato jalapeño onion chicken sauce was a cold soupy mess and the eggs made it worse. Stay away from this meal. We will go back... but my wife will definately order something else!
